Sie kann wahlweise direkt, mit Selbstauslöser oder mit Infrarot-Fernbedienung ausgelöst werden. Mit ihrem Blechgehäuse und der beim Ausschalten elektrisch schließenden Edelstahl-Objektivschutz-Schiebetür hat sie die edelste Anmutung unter den Minolta [[Vectis-Kameras]]. Außer dem Auslösemodus können auch das Datum und der Blitzmodus eingestellt werden, letzterer inklusive eines Nachtporträtmodus. Als Bildzähler, Datums- und Modusanzeige hat die Kamera ein [[LCD]]-Display. Beim Umschalten des APS-Printformates wird auch der Sucherrahmen des verkleinernden optischen Zoom-Suchers entsprechend angepasst.
